Dear Madame Flavour,

I am a burlesque artist and singer. I bid you hello!

Only two days ago I was shopping in the supermarket and finding the experience rather dull. I remembered at the last minute that I needed to buy tea bags and went to the isle without much enthusiasm because after all, the tea and coffee section is never very exciting.

BUT WAIT...

This trip to the supermarket was different. My eye was immediately drawn to a bright alluring and exotic new package. The words 'Sultry Chai' beamed out at me. I thought to myself 'I must try this!' and I as looked down my hand was already reaching for the packet as if it had a mind of it's own - spooky!

I returned home and savoured opening the carton, to my delight there was a lovely sachet inside, decorated with the glorious MF insignia, I was already intoxicated but I continued to open the sachet and delicately (as burlesque showgirls are always delicate) lifted the sachet to my nose to inhale the contents.

HEAVENS ABOUND!

All manner of fragrances burst into my nostril passages sending signals of giddying wonder into my brain. I nearly had to sit down to regain composure but I didn't. I immediately filled the kettle and brewed myself a divine cup of the aforementioned Sultry Chai. The results blended with milk and honey took me to celestial realms indeed!

I must thank you, your work and inspiration is now a daily part of my own.

The majority of the comments on your site come from the female gender and I almost feel embarrassed being a bloke and purchasing more "Madame Flavour".

But since my wife is Sri Lankan it was the contents listing - and the organic/recyclable earth ethic - that convinced me to try your brew.

Perhaps somewhere in the marketing / packaging there could someday be a reference to your teas being as at home with the motor mechanic as the homely housewife. :)

On friday afternoon I was perusing the shelves of a dusty old grocery store and came upon my favourite aisle - the tea aisle. And as I looked at the shelves, lined from floor to ceiling with various boxes and packets of tea, I was attracted to a small green cardboard package labeled: Madame Flavour.

I am a proficient tea drinker and was surprised to find a tea that I had not seen, let alone tasted. Green tea is my personal favourite and I looked forward to whisking it home and putting the kettle on.

I rushed the rest of the grocery shopping, throwing things into my basket haphazardly as I made my way through the checkout. It was cold outside and I pulled my cardigans and scarf close. After the short trip home I found myself in my kitchen, pouring hot water into my tea-glass and sat in front of my macbook sipping the delightful flavours of green tea, jasmine and pear.

It was such a splendid tea, full of fragrance and it tasted as good as it looked. The tea leaves unfurled and the jasmine buds blossomed. It was the inspiriting and warming moment I had longed for. It did not disappoint. To my delight I was also met with a typed letter, voicing your love and pride of your product and I felt at once that I had made a friend.

I will be sure to make many more teapots full of this wonderful philter and share the enchanting moment with many more tea-drinking aquaintances of mine. So thank you Madame Flavour for your waggish creation, I would love to hear from you.

Dear Madame Flavour,

I have discovered your lovely green, jasmin & pear tea a few weeks ago and was firstly absolutely delighted with the delicate aroma that came out of the box when I opened it. To take the first teabag out and see the lovely delicate beautifully shaped bag was a special experience in itself. While the water was getting hot I was a bit concerned that the actual tea would not be holding up to the promising extraordinary experience so far. As soon as the steaming water met the tea I was enveloped in the most beautiful unusual aroma.

I have just bought a box of your Green, Jasmine and Pear tea…. Delicious!!! I am known as the tea queen at work (just LOVE tea!) and I bought this recent box on a flying visit to Byron Bay… as a result I discovered how fantastic it is, after I’d left!
