Australian Morning Tea

What’s in it

Ceylon Ceciliyan Estate, Kenilworth Estate and St Claire Estate leaf teas.

How to get the most out of it

Gently detach the tag and place pyramid in your favourite cup. Pour in freshly heated water (95c). Infuse for 3-5 minutes.

Enjoy with or without a splash of milk.

Single Origin Green Australian Lemon

What’s in it

Single estate leafy green tea, Australian lemon myrtle, lemongrass, Australian aniseed myrtle, calendula flower.

How to get the most out of it

Gently detach the tag and place pyramid in your favourite cup. Pour in freshly heated water (85c), not boiling. Infuse for 3-5 minutes.

Raspberry Hibiscus Australian Plum

What’s in it

Hibiscus, raspberry pieces, rosehip, Davidson’s Plum, natural raspberry flavour, calendula flowers. Contains no caffeine.

How to get the most out of it

Gently detach the tag and place pyramid in your favourite cup. Pour in freshly heated water (85c), not boiling. Infuse for 3-5 minutes.

To enjoy chilled, once the tea is infused, cool in the fridge. Drink with ice, a dash of freshly squeezed orange juice, pummelled raspberries and a cocktail umbrella.

Australian Morning Tea - Pure Ceylon Tea

Unlike other teas bought at random auction based on low prices, I select Madame Flavour Ceylon teas personally, based on my favourite seasonal flavours from five particular estates. Over a dozen trips now, I have visited these estates in the high-grown mountainous country of Nuwara Eliya, which takes many hours of windy roads to reach.

We would meet monthly in Leongatha, a group of passionate part-time growers, talking about how to bring these flavours to the broader Australian community, who knew little of them.

I source the finest freeze-dried raspberries from wherever is having the most delicious season (as judged by us going raspberry picking and tasting several hundred between us). We have even planted our own down at Mt Best now and are looking forward to our first harvest around Christmas.
