Raspberry Plum Hibiscus title

I’ve blended hibiscus pieces, with rosehip & raspberries to create a wonderfully colourful and uplifting herbal infusion without the caffeine.

This intense, ruby-coloured infusion recalls my time in Cuba. The women were inspiring, living in the moment and comfortable in their skins. When there was music they would dance, like no one was watching. Their inner beauty flowed with passion and joy for life, in spite of hardships they faced.

What’s in it

Large cut hibiscus, large cut rosehip, raspberry pieces, Australian Davidson’s Plum, natural raspberry flavour, calendula flowers.

How to get the most out of it

Add 1 teaspoon leaf per 200ml water to the filter of your favourite pot. Pour water heated to 85o. Infuse for 3-5 minute and inhale the aromas as you slow down and anticipate that first satisfying sip.
To enjoy iced, allow the infusion to cool, garnish with a handful of fresh raspberries, a sprig of vietnamese mint, and if you need, sweeten to taste.

Hibiscus

My hibiscus flowers are sourced all the way from Sudan. Before it was gripped by civil war, Sudan was much like Sri Lanka, however a recent truce is giving new hope to the people. I have not been there to meet the growers yet but am keen to visit. Hopefully this blend will, in some.

Raspberry

Sienna and I love raspberries. I source the finest freeze-dried raspberries from wherever is having the most delicious season (as judged by us going raspberry picking and tasting several hundred between us). We have even planted our own down at Mt Best now and are looking forward to our first harvest around Christmas.
